The Consulate General of Germany in Novosibirsk stopped functioning, information about this was published on December 1 on the official website of the German mission in Russia.
“The Consulate General in Novosibirsk is closed. Please contact the German Embassy in Moscow.”says the message.
Previously, in May this year, Germany announced the closure of consulates in four Russian cities: Kaliningrad, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk. The visa departments of the consulates in these cities have stopped accepting visa applications since June. Now you just need to apply for visas at the representative office in Moscow.
The Consulate General of Germany in Novosibirsk opened its doors in 1994; his district included the regions of Siberia and the Far East. Currently, the embassy in Moscow and the consulate general in Saint Petersburg continue to operate.
