Five people died and 12 were injured as a result of the hurricane in Crimea, according to the head of the republic Sergei Aksenov on his Telegram channel on December 1.
The head of the region also reported that the electricity supply was interrupted in 273 locations. As a result of the disaster, 159 private homes, 2 residential buildings, 193 personal plots and 60 country houses in three municipalities on the peninsula were flooded.
“More than 3 thousand people and 350 teams participated to eliminate the consequences of the emergency situation. The interdepartmental operational headquarters continues to function. In the first hours, 445 people were evacuated from flooded residential buildings, including 69 children. Currently, 53 people remain in temporary accommodation centers, including 6 children. “Everyone has hot food.”says the message.
Currently, some 1,600 subscribers are still waiting for electricity supply.
