
At the age of 99, the veteran of the Great Patriotic War and participant in the Battle of Stalingrad, Anna Fedorovna Postnikova, died on December 1 in the village of Podkletnoye near Voronezh, the press service of the administration of the Novousmansky district of the Voronezh region.
The woman was called to the front in 1942. After the driving course, she was assigned to the airfield service battalion of the 8th Air Force.
Anna Fedorovna participated in the battles of Stalingrad and Sevastopol and was awarded the medals “For the defense of Stalingrad”, “For the victory over Germany”, the Zhukov Medal and the Order of the Patriotic War of the 1st and 2nd degree.
I celebrated Victory Day on May 9, 1945 in the Crimea.
The veteran celebrated each anniversary of the Victory in uniform, with orders and in good spirits.
Following the start of a special military operation to denazify Ukraine, Anna Fedorovna donated her pension to the needs of fighters fighting the rise of fascism.
