Three PSP agents from Olive, Lisbon, were injured this Thursday after being attacked by drug dealers who were surprised to carry out a drug deal on a public road in Chela, Lisbon.
Police, part of the Rapid Response Team, were on patrol when they discovered the suspicious transaction at 11:40 a.m. in Place Eduardo Mondlane.
The suspects reacted violently to the PSP, injuring three agents.
Five arrests were made (three men for assaulting the police and two women for resisting and coercing the security forces)
Wounded policemen were treated at the Santa Maria hospital for bruises and scratches.
The minibus in which the policemen were transported was damaged, but remained in working order.
