The development of twelve large models to combine production has reached its final stage, the press service of the government of the Vologda region reported on December 1.
At the final stage of project approval, it is necessary to develop a transparent scheme for monitoring and managing the work of companies within production groups, which should even more closely connect the authorities and the largest industrial companies in the region.
To do this, it is necessary to draw up a draft agreement between the participants of the associations, describe the requirements for business plans and determine the types of possible support measures from the regional budget.
According to Dmitry Zaitsev, chairman of the Cherepovets city branch of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the Vologda Region, twelve large projects have reached the final stage of development of the cluster production model.
Manufacturing companies specializing in the field of instrument engineering, the production of polymeric and anti-corrosion coatings, pumping equipment and cable support products will participate in these associations.
All companies included in the list of twelve projects will unite in technological chains solely around the two largest Cherepovets enterprises of federal significance: Severstal PJSC and PhosAgro PJSC.
According to experts, the total potential of the region’s cluster model is estimated at 100 billion rubles.
Recall that at the end of last year the federal government approved a plan for the development of the industry and its competitiveness by 2023. An innovation of this program was the task of introducing improved models of industrial clusters. To achieve this, regional authorities were tasked with ensuring the creation of favorable conditions for businesses, preparing production sites and integrating enterprises with state participation with small and medium-sized businesses.
