More than 20 thousand tons of lamb were exported to Iran from the ports of Astrakhan, the regional office of Rosselkhoznadzor reported on December 2.
The Rosselkhoznadzor Office for the Rostov, Volgograd, Astrakhan regions and the Republic of Kalmykia, from October 16 to 24, 2023, at the Astrakhan sea port, controlled and processed 94 batches of food products (167.2 thousand tons) for its export to Iran. .
In particular, 81 shipments of feed corn (138.9 thousand tons) and 13 shipments of feed barley (28.3 thousand tons) were exported from the region, in addition, 2 shipments of chilled lamb (24.4 thousand tons) and 3 lots of plant products. feed (5.8 thousand tons).
Cargo shipments were registered on the basis of laboratory test reports submitted to the Astrakhan branch of the Rostov Reference Center of Rosselkhoznadzor, veterinary certificates in electronic form and reports on the disinfection of vehicles.
