A possible connection between a series of shootings in Austin and San Antonio on Tuesday that left six people dead and several others injured is being investigated.
A man in his 30s was arrested and charged with aggravated murder, according to the report. Texas police are trying to determine whether this man was involved in all of the shootings. ABC News.
In Austin, shootings began this morning when two police officers were wounded. Two hours later, a man and woman were shot and killed near Shadywood Drive in South Austin.
The suspect was involved in a car accident while on the run from police and was arrested.
Officers entered the burglarized home and found two people dead from gunshot wounds.
However, police were told that the man arrested was associated with a house in San Antonio and decided to go to the location. When he arrived there, he found two more dead, aged between 40 and 50 years.
Police officers told ABC News that the bodies were left in a very small room and that the scene discovered was “horrifying.”
The suspect is believed to have first killed two people at a home in San Antonio and then traveled to Austin.
