A 42-year-old woman was killed and two people were injured in a shooting in Hackney, east London, on Tuesday, the Metropolitan Police said, citing Heavenly news.
Officers, along with London Ambulance Service paramedics, attended the scene and found three people suffering from gunshot wounds. The 42-year-old woman died on the spot. A 20-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were taken to hospital.
According to the same source, police have launched a murder investigation and no arrests have been made. “We are still in the early stages of the investigation and a team of specialist detectives are working to establish what happened,” Detective Vicki Tunstall said.
