The father of Monica Silva, a woman missing in Mourtos for more than two months, told reporters CM which the judicial police will deal with in the coming days. According to Alfredo Silva, inspectors must come to the hypermarket that is being created in Mourtos at any time.
The 33-year-old’s father has made no secret of his anger and pain at not knowing his daughter’s whereabouts for more than two months, and said the family will no longer conduct private searches as he hopes “the judicial police will not refuse searching for the woman’s body.”
Monica Silva was last seen on October 3. She told her youngest son that she was going to a cafe and that the journey home would only take ten minutes, but no one saw her again. Fernando Valente, the main suspect in the crime, is in pre-trial detention in Aveiro prison.
