According to Hello!King Charles III announced that he would receive the President of the Republic of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa and the first lady at Buckingham Palace November 22-24.
The state visit is the first since Charles ascended the throne. The King has visited South Africa several times since his first visit to the country, and in 1997 visited Pretoria, Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town.
Details of the visit have yet to be released, but a formal dinner is expected with King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla, likely accompanied by other members of the royal family such as the Princes of Wales.
