A 44-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday in the municipality of Celorico da Beira on suspicion of domestic violence against his 42-year-old partner and placed in preventive detention, the GNR said on Friday.
In a statement, the GNR da Guarda territorial command explained that the arrest was made through the Center for Investigation and Support of Specific Victims (NIAVE) as part of a domestic violence investigation, during which the military determined that “the aggressor used physical violence.” and psychological against the victim, his 42-year-old friend.”
