A 43-year-old man was arrested Tuesday in North Carolina, USA, after stealing a tractor and fleeing authorities.
The maximum allowable speed of the car was 32 kilometers per hour, but the intruder was caught driving much faster.
Several warnings were given that the vehicle was being driven dangerously. The police were called and set up a device to catch the fugitive who had never followed the authorities’ order to stop.
When he was cornered, the man abandoned the car and tried to flee on foot, but was eventually caught.
The offender caused damage to the police car and vehicles that were parked when he fled. Now he faces charges of theft, dangerous driving and disobedience to authorities.
