A mass shooting claimed the lives of at least ten people in California, United States of America, on Saturday.
The police found that in addition to the dead, at least 16 people were injured, two seriously, according to the international TV channel. i24. However, officials have yet to confirm the true number of injured and dead. All the injured were taken to area hospitals.
Filming took place in the city of Monterey Park, not far from the place where they celebrated the Chinese New Year, around 22:00 (6:00 am in Lisbon).
One local resident said the incident happened “after the end of the festival.”
The suspect has not yet been arrested, and the motives that prompted him to commit this crime are still unclear.
