The company said the event could also impact services on January 9 and 11.
CP added that a minimum volume of services has been defined, with the exception of the Cascais line, “where the majority of services are expected to be carried out.”
The company guarantees that customers who already have purchased tickets for travel on trains of the Alfa Pendular, Intercidades, Internacional, InterRegional and Regional lines “will be given the opportunity to return the full cost of the purchased ticket or exchange it free of charge for another train. the same category and the same class.”
According to Aprofer – Associação Sindical dos Profissionais do Comando e Controlo Viário, the strike is related to working conditions and wages in the profession and covers workers, command, control, information, traffic control and railway maintenance.
Intellectual property workers have already completed a two-day strike this year.
On January 4, the strike resulted in the suppression of 781 trains out of 1,088 planned (71.8% suppressed) from 0:00 to 19:00, and on January 2, the suppression of 798 trains out of the total. of the 1,086, only minimal services were estimated to have been provided before 7 p.m., CP said.
