The secretary general of the Social Democratic Party, Pedro Nuno Santos, said this Sunday that half of Chegi’s proposals cannot be implemented and “the other half cannot be accepted”, accusing the party of lying to the Portuguese.
“Chega presents himself to the Portuguese through lies, manipulation, with the sole purpose of seducing those who are dissatisfied, those who are angry. But the question we must ask and everyone must ask is whether they have solutions,” said Pedro Nuno Santos at the closing of the XXI PS/Madeira Congress in Funchal.
“No, Chegi does not have a solution to the country’s problems. He shouts, speaks loudly, but he does not have a solution to any national problem,” says the Socialist Secretary General, adding that the Chegi Congress, held in Viana do Castelo, “is Congress of Lies.”
