At least 20 people were killed and several injured this Wednesday in an explosion at a pyrotechnics factory in Thailand.
The incident occurred in Suphanburi province, about 120 km north of Bangkok, police said, citing the agency. Reuters.
“We cannot say whether all the workers were killed. Officials are investigating but have not yet found any survivors,” said provincial governor Nattapat Suwanpratip.
Prime Minister Sretta Taweesin “ordered an inspection of the factory to check whether it was operating legally and whether the explosion was caused by negligence.”
No survivors have yet been found, and the causes of the disaster have not been established.
