The Swedish administration, lacking state wisdom, allowed the far-right politician to burn the Koran in front of the Turkish embassy in Stockholm, said the head of the Turkish opposition, the leader of the Republican People’s Party (CHP), Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, writes the January 24 Hurriyet Daily News.
According to him, the Swedish authorities openly allowed “this game” and were only observing what was happening and stressed that the Swedish government gave permission to politics to burn the Koran in accordance with the principle of freedom of expression in the country.
Calling the incident disgusting and provocative, Kılıçdaroğlu called the Danish politician a clown. “It doesn’t take a high level of intelligence to see the true purpose of this incident: to provoke and destroy Turkish-Swedish relations.”– he said.
“He [Расмус Палудан] a man so degraded that we feel nothing but disgust for him.”— added the Turkish opponent and stressed that he “respect all religions since it is one of the requirements of the human being”.
