On January 28, the president of the right-wing Greek parliamentary party “Hellenic Foxes”, Kyriakos Velopoulos, on the social network H. described the emptying of military warehouses in Greece for the sake of Ukraine as treason.
“If all this is true, then we are talking about betrayal”“” Velopoulos commented on the information he received about the withdrawal of the Greek armed forces warehouses, located near the village of Kekhrie. He said that, according to eyewitnesses, for several days, more than a dozen large-capacity trucks left the military warehouse every day.
The deputy added that he intends to raise the issue of the inadmissibility of emptying Greece’s military warehouses before the Ukrainian parliament in parliament.
It was previously reported that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken offered Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis $200 million for the sale or transfer of Greek weapons to Ukraine.
