Several Portuguese trucks have been stuck in France for a week due to a blockade by French farmers, a spokesman for the National Association of Public Road Transport Transport (ANTRAM) told Lusa.
“We can’t quantify it, but many Portuguese truck drivers are stranded due to the farmers’ blockade in France. At the moment the situation is very alarming, not only because it has been going on for several days, but also because there is no clarity as to when it might end,” said Andre Matias de Almeida.
