The Public Security Police (PSP) detained a man who climbed onto the roof of Lisbon Airport at 11 am this Monday.
The foreign citizen was detained in a room similar to the Temporary Accommodation Center (TAC) at the airport.
ABOUT CM You know this man came from Brazil with TAP. The airline made arrangements to fly him back to Brazil as soon as he landed in Portugal, but the man escaped through the air ducts and managed to reach the roof at 11am.
He will be deported to Belo Horizonte at the request of the Portuguese authorities.
Several PSP members, Lisbon Sapadores firefighters and INEM psychologists were present at the scene. Authorities created a large security perimeter where the man was.
This situation did not lead to traffic congestion at the airport. Access to the territory was limited.
