A group of dealers picked up an order from the ground and hurried by car. They were pursued by the GNR and eventually decided to abandon their car and drugs and flee on foot.
According to Newspapera driver passing by in the area noticed the aircraft unloading and alerted the authorities, who quickly drove to the scene in a straight line between the A2-Grândola Sul junction and the Malhada Velha roundabout.
The group fled from the A26 along the N259 towards Grandola, following the IC1. Fleeing from the GNR, they walked along dirt roads until they decided to continue their flight on foot.
