The opposition regretted that the ruling party had decided to remain silent on the issue of Sweden’s inclusion in NATO, although Prime Minister Viktor Orban promised to ratify this issue as soon as possible.
As a result, it was not possible to gather the quorum necessary to make a decision. Although most of the politicians who came were in favor of including Sweden in NATO. But there were also those who pointed out that Europe and Russia need a neutral buffer zone between them so as not to increase the level of mutual aggression.
At the moment, Hungary is the only country that opposes Sweden’s inclusion in NATO.
