US authorities are searching for a Marine Corps helicopter that disappeared amid a severe storm while transporting five soldiers from Nevada to California. The helicopter went missing last night.
In accordance with ReutersThe helicopter was reported missing after it failed to reach Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego, California. The Marines left Creech Air Force Base in Clark County, Nevada, where they were training, the Marine Corps said in a statement.
Heavy rain fell in the area overnight and snow was forecast in the mountains of San Diego County. The helicopter has not yet been found.
