The areas of Porto, Viana do Castelo, Aveiro, Coimbra and Braga are under an orange warning, the second most severe, due to the rough sea forecasts issued this Saturday by the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA).
The warnings are valid until 03:00 Sunday, and in the areas of Viana do Castelo and Braga, waves reach a height of 10 meters.
The areas of Guarda and Castelo Branco are under a yellow warning due to snowfall forecast until 12:00 on Sunday.
Snowfall is expected above 1,200 meters, with accumulations of four centimeters at above 1,400 meters and more than five centimeters at the highest points of the Serra da Estrela.
Areas of Faro are also under a yellow warning with rough seas expected until 18:00 Sunday, Setúbal (rain until 12:00 and rough seas until 18:00 Sunday), Lisbon, Leiria and Beja for the same reasons.
