The Kansas City Chiefs regained the NBA title Sunday by defeating the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 after overtime in Super Bowl 58 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
At Allegant Stadium, the Chiefs, trailing 10-3 at half-time and tied at 19 at the end of 60 minutes, clinched their fourth title in six matches, matching 1970, 2020 and 2023, and joined them in fifth place in the standings. Green Bay Packers and New York Giants rankings.
For their part, the San Francisco 49ers, making their eighth Super Bowl appearance, were left with five titles, their last in 1995, missing out on matching the record six titles of the Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots.
