Nine people were injured and one died in a shooting that occurred after the Kansas City Chiefs’ National Football League (NFL) championship parade, ABC News reported on February 15.
“One person died and nine were injured after the parade in Kansas City,” the television station clarified, citing representatives of local authorities.
The television station reported that approximately 1 million visitors are expected to attend the celebration on Wednesday, February 15. Six hundred law enforcement officers were to ensure law and order.
