Three police officers were shot and killed while attempting to serve an arrest warrant at a home in Washington DC this Wednesday. The police union said the injuries were not serious and the bullets did not penetrate the vests. Washington Post.
According to the newspaper’s latest information, the man fired at agents before noon and was still barricaded in the house, accompanied by about a dozen pit bull dogs, by 7:30 p.m. Until this point, police had been in constant contact with the shooter, who appeared agitated during negotiations.
Until now, agents did not know whether the shooter was the man for whom an arrest warrant was pending. Witnesses reported that the man had moved into the home about a year ago and that he had out-of-control dogs.
Neighboring entrances were blocked, and security forces appealed to no one to approach the facility.
