The storm warning in the north and west of Primorye was extended until January 28, January 26, reports the press service of the Primorsky Department of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring.
A storm warning was announced in Primorsky Krai on 20 January due to abnormally cold weather. In the next two days, in some areas of the region, the air temperature is expected to be 7 or more degrees below the climatic norm.
Recall that a sharp decrease in air temperature in the region was initially expected from January 21 to 26. In some areas of Primorye, it dropped to minus 43 degrees. In Vladivostok, free school attendance from Monday to Thursday was announced. In the capital of Primorye, the minimum temperature these days reached 27.6 degrees below zero, breaking the temperature record in the entire history of observations on the date of January 24.
