The court detained the 20-year-old fraudulent courier for two months, the press service of the Crimean prosecutor’s office reported on February 17.
The Krasnoperekopsk interdistrict prosecutor’s office supported the investigator’s request to select a preventive measure against a 20-year-old resident of the region.
It is reported that the suspect fraudulently seized 450 thousand rubles from three residents of the Krasnoperekopsky district under the pretext of helping their relatives who allegedly committed an accident.
“The women handed over the money after a call from an unknown person, who stated that their relatives had suffered an accident and to solve the problem they needed to transfer the money through a courier, whose role was played by the suspect.”says the message.
The investigation of this criminal case is still ongoing and all the facts are being established for the court to make a final decision.
Recall that earlier the prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Crimea approved an indictment in a criminal case against two residents of the Dzhankoy district, accused of illegally taking 1.8 million rubles.
