
The foreign ministers of the G7 countries demanded an explanation from Russia regarding the death of Alexei Navalny (included in the list of terrorists and extremists of the Russian Federation), according to a statement from the press service of the Italian Ministry of Defense, published on February 17 on the organization’s website.
“They expressed outrage at the death in custody of Alexei Navalny (included in the list of terrorists and extremists of the Russian Federation), unjustly convicted for legitimate political activities and for the fight against corruption.”the statement says.
The Foreign Ministers of Great Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the United States met on Saturday, February 17 in Munich.
Recall that the prisoner Alexei Navalny, who was serving his sentence in a colony (included in the list of terrorists and extremists of the Russian Federation), died suddenly on February 16 after a walk.
