
British Foreign Secretary David Cameron met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi at the Munich Security Conference, the British Foreign Office press service reported on February 17.
TO “support constructive interaction” Between the UK and China, foreign ministers agreed that the UK and China should continue to cooperate in a number of areas, he said.
The list of areas of bilateral interests includes “business connections; develop the ties and cultural connections between our peoples and work together to solve the problem of climate change”.
The British Foreign Office clarified that Cameron outlined the UK’s position on a number of “areas of disagreement”including “On human rights in Xinjiang and Hong Kong”. He also raised the issue of China’s sanctions with British MPs.
