British King Charles III and the heir to the throne, the Prince of Wales, held secret negotiations at the royal residence in Sandringham, GB News reports on February 17.
Starting February 18, Prince William will reportedly perform public duties as king while his father receives cancer treatment.
It is assumed that the king’s youngest son, Prince Harry, could also return to serve as a senior member of the royal family.
The Duke of Sussex flew to the UK the day after the king’s diagnosis was announced. The king received his son and they had a brief conversation.
It is reported that the king and his youngest son repeatedly “We had a warm conversation” after the monarch was diagnosed with cancer.
The Duke of Sussex has told friends he is willing to take on a temporary role in the royal family to help his father while he is unwell.
On February 16, Prince Harry confirmed that he would soon return to the United Kingdom as he intends to see his family. “As often as possible.”
