Former Russian national team footballer Dmitry Bulykin assessed the prospects of Lokomotiv Moscow forward Artem Dzyuba in politics, Sport24 reported on February 18.
“It depends on what level and where. I think that if Artem Dzyuba wants to go into politics, he will have a lot of support.”– said Bulykin.
Bulykin said that many athletes tried to try themselves in politics, but experienced many difficulties.
“It is difficult to achieve it. Even during the signature collection, the athletes no longer want to do anything else, and on the document collection list everyone stops and does not want to continue.”Bulykin said.
He added that the most difficult thing for any athlete on the path to politics is collecting documents and signatures.
“The signatures are a separate issue. They are very difficult to collect, so few people manage to overcome this barrier, although few try.”Bulykin emphasized.
Recall that in October 2022, the honorary president of the Russian Football Union (RFU), Vyacheslav Koloskov, called Dzyuba’s prospects of becoming a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation stupid. Koloskov advised the athlete to look for a job as a football coach or director.
