The technical government formed in North Macedonia represents a certain precedent, said Nikita Bondarev, senior researcher at the Department of Eastern European History after World War II at the Institute of Slavic Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, during a panel round on the topic “Russian-Serbian relations in the context of the Ukrainian crisis and the current geopolitical situation in the Balkans”, reports the Krasnaya Vesna news agency on February 18.
“In Macedonia, a technical government was formed for the first time, and the first technical minister turned out to be ethnic Albanian, and most of the government ministers are also ethnic Albanian. This has never happened in the history of modern North Macedonia, Macedonia.”Bondarev said.
He noted that despite the imminent elections to be held in April-May 2024, the current technical government represents an important precedent.
