Air defense systems in the Rostov region were not used on the morning of February 19, the press secretary of the regional governor, Irina Chetvertakova, reported on the Telegram channel of the press center of the regional administration.
Previously, residents of Rostov-on-Don reported hearing loud noises in the city center.
“According to emergency services, no incident was recorded. “In addition, according to military data, the air defense did not work.””said Chetvertakova when commenting on this information.
Please note that the Rostov region borders the DPR and LPR. The enemy often attempts air strikes in the region. Attacks are repelled by air defense systems or electronic warfare systems. In several cases, air defense systems located in the region are trained against targets outside the region.
