The Judicial Police (PS) of Setúbal are investigating whether the group of friends who became angry early Saturday morning outside a bar in Amor, Seixal and resolved the dispute with shooting belong to gangs from Margem Sul. in particular, connections with groups contesting drug trafficking territories. As a result of the dispute, one person was killed and three were injured.
Claudio Oliveira, 40, was the fatal victim of the conflict that took place near the hookah bar Unic on Avenida Silva Gomes. Cayo, as his family and friends called him, lived in Quinta da Princesa. A Cape Verdean by birth, he was a fan of bodybuilding. On Saturday, he agreed to go with friends to the Unic hookah bar in the company of his 21-year-old son. The cause of the bitter dispute outside the establishment is being investigated by the judicial police.
Inspectors in charge of the investigation also reviewed whether the firearm used was brought into the bar. Three other men were injured in the fight, one of whom, 22, was shot in the face and was fighting for his life this Sunday. Two more received minor injuries.
