A 14-year-old boy died in Madrid, Spain, after drinking an energy drink containing two grams of pink cocaine. According to the newspaper World, The events took place around 21:55 (20:55 in Portugal) on Friday evening on Avenida de Rigoberto Menchú, in front of Los Espardales de Getafe metro station.
The boy, accompanied by two friends, met with other young people whom he had met on Instagram. It was initially assumed that these young men had drugged the victim. However, friends said that the young man was aware and decided to drink the drink voluntarily.
The Spanish National Police are not treating the case as a murder.
Pink cocaine, which is not easy to find on the street, is a mixture of substances that have stimulating and hallucinatory effects.
