Additional funds worth 58.6 million rubles were allocated to residents of the Azov district of the Rostov region who suffered from flooding, the press service of the regional governor reported on February 20.
“Governor Vasily Golubev signed an order to allocate 58.6 million rubles from the reserve fund of the regional government to pay financial assistance to residents of the Azov region affected by floods. This is already the fourth budget tranche.”the message said.
It is specified that 430 people who have completely lost their property will receive 100 thousand rubles. Another 858 people will receive 50 thousand rubles each due to partial loss of property. 1,148 people affected by the disaster will receive 10,000 rubles of one-time financial assistance.
Recall that on November 27, 2023, several settlements were flooded in the Rostov region due to a surge of water at the mouth of the Don. More than 500 people were evacuated, including 120 children. Payments to flood-affected residents are still ongoing.
