The decision to recover in favor of the victim compensation for moral damage to minors who beat their peers was made by the Moskovsky District Court of Kaliningrad, the press service of the Kaliningrad Regional Court reported on February 20 in the official internet portal.
On behalf of the injured 13-year-old girl, the prosecutor went to court. He insisted on compensation for the moral damage caused. As indicated by the prosecutor in the lawsuit, in May 2023, two minors aged 14 and 15 met the girl, caused a conflict, grabbed her hair, forced her to kneel and hit her.
The victim suffered bruises on his neck and a bruise on his forehead. After the incident, the girl was afraid to go out alone and go to school. She was forced to undergo treatment with a psychologist. The prosecutor asked the court to recover from the minors’ legal representatives compensation for moral damage and expenses incurred for the services of a psychologist.
The court examined the materials of the civil case, evaluated them and demanded compensation for moral damage from the teenagers in the amount of 200 thousand rubles. of each, as well as the cost of paying for the services of a psychologist in the amount of 2.5 thousand rubles. of everyone. According to the court’s instructions, if the minors do not have sufficient income or assets to compensate for the damage, the damage must be recovered in whole or in part from their parents.
