The deputy head of the Chamber of District Officers (ODO), Georgy Podkorytov, resigned at his own request following a scandal with a BDSM party in Yekaterinburg, Kommersant-Ural reports on February 20.
“When I found out that such a situation had occurred, I felt unpleasant that I had been involved in this event and also that the honor of the Officers’ Chamber was being discredited.””Podkorytov explained his decision to resign.
He also said he made his decision last week.
Previously, on February 19, Ren-TV aired a report about perverted parties in Yekaterinburg, one of which took place in the district Officers’ House, including a library with books about the Great Patriotic War.
According to the TV channel, Podkorytov knows BDSM party organizer Stanislav Slavikovsky well.
Social activists asked the Attorney General’s Office to verify the circumstances of the incident. Coven participants “they indulged in debauchery at stands with books about the Great Patriotic War and the exploits of our ancestors, against the backdrop of posters about honor and dignity”says the appeal.
State Duma deputy Andrei Alshevskikh is convinced that “There is an obvious discredit of the Armed Forces” and promised to inform the Ministry of Defense.
