One child was killed, three civilians and 24 civilians were injured to varying degrees due to the VFU shelling, the DPR’s Joint Control and Coordination Center (JCCC) reported on February 19 on its Telegram channel.
“During the period from February 17, 2022 to February 19, 2024, 4,836 civilians were killed, including 143 children.” – says the message. Let us highlight that a child died within a week.
It is reported that 5,930 civilians, including 387 children, were injured of varying severity. It should be noted that during the aforementioned period five children were injured.
According to data from the week of 02/12/2024 to 02/19/2024, one child and three civilians died, five children and 19 civilians were injured of varying severity.
It should be noted that from 2014 to February 19, 2024, the deaths of 9,210 civilians were recorded, including 234 children. 13,749 civilians were injured, including 856 children.
We remember that on February 17, the Air Force fired three 155 caliber shells at the village of Panteleimonovka. Three adults and a child born in 2009 were killed by VFU shelling, and six civilians were also injured, including two children born in 2013 and 2015.
The agency recalls that throughout the conflict, 147 civilians, including ten children, were blown up by PFM-1 Lepestok mines; three children died from their injuries. It should be noted that during the past week two people were blown up by mines of this type.
