Two men have been charged with murder following a shooting that left one person dead and 22 injured during the Super Bowl celebration in Kansas City, according to a report. Reuters with reference to authorities.
Suspects Dominic Miller of Kansas City and Lindell Mays of Raytown are charged with second-degree murder and also face two counts of armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon, according to the news agency.
“According to court records, the defendants attended the Super Bowl parade and rally on February 14, 2024 and were armed with firearms,” the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement.
He added: “There was a verbal altercation and shooting began without any regard for the thousands of other people in the area.”
