On February 21, the opening ceremony of the plant for the production of automatic and mechanical transmissions, axles and gearboxes took place in the Rostov region, the press service of the regional governor reports.
“When it reaches its maximum capacity, the plant will be able to annually supply about 10 thousand units of the company’s equipment with transmissions, axles and gearboxes. “Some of the products will be used in the production of road construction machines.””, the message clarifies.
In a short time, the high-tech products company was created. This received all possible support.
For example, 5 billion rubles were raised from the Russian Industrial Development Fund. And regional authorities helped draft a special investment contract that will allow for zero-rating income tax. In addition, other regional investment incentives for the plant are planned. The company will create about 500 jobs.
As highlighted by Rostselmash General Director Valery Maltsev, the plant is a project of strategic importance.
“The objective is to provide the assembly lines with their own component base. Its implementation means reinforcing the technological independence of the company with respect to external supplies and expanding competencies.”He noticed.
