Isabel Camarinha spoke this Thursday at the end of the International Trade Union Conference, organized by CGTP-IN, which took place in Seixal, Setubal district, and brought together trade union activists representing about 90 trade unions from around the world.
The initiative is part of the XV CGTP-IN Congress, which will take place on Friday and Saturday, also in Seixal, and which will be marked by the renewal of a quarter of directors, including Secretary General Isabel Camarinho, who will replace him in this position by Thiago Oliveira.
“We are convinced and history proves that the role of trade unions is crucial and that it is in the hands of the workers with their organization, unity and struggle, transforming society, building a future of solidarity and peace, development, progress. and social justice,” defended Isabel Camarinha.
