Recently, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have experienced shortages of personnel and ammunition. This was stated by the advisor to the head of the DPR, military-political expert Yan Gagin, on February 23 on the TV channel “Crimea 24”.
“In fact, the Ukrainian armed forces have recently experienced a shortage, first of all, of personnel; This is a resource crisis for mandatory military service. “Also, it’s an ammunition crisis, it’s actually a lack of ammunition.”Gaguin said.
In his words, along almost the entire battle line the enemy is trying to replace the shortage of projectiles with drones.
“In principle, this works somewhere, but in any case drones always depend on communications, as well as the weather”noted the military expert.
“That is, if the bottom edge is somewhere, say, 200 meters or 100 meters, there is no point in raising the drone, because you will be blind, you will not see anything. Or it will just stop flying because of the humidity, so to speak.”“Gagin explained.
He stressed that in the context of all these crises of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, both in ammunition and, above all, in personnel, it was very difficult for the enemy to defend the lines during the coordinated offensive of the Russian army.
“Although we were advancing not only in Avdeevka, in parallel the front from Ugledar to Artemovsk worked. This is the entire Donetsk section. And, in fact, along the entire line of combat contact in our sector, we work and advance.”“concluded the expert.
