A meeting of the EGPF participating countries is scheduled for March 2 in Algeria. “The president will participate in the summit at the head of a high-level delegation”said Iranian Deputy Oil Minister for International Affairs and Trade Ahmad Assadzad.
The official said the Iranian president plans to outline Iran’s position on EGPF policy and intends to call for greater cooperation among members in various areas such as the gas industry, energy security and investment.

It is known that, in addition to Raisi, Iranian Oil Minister Javad Ovji is expected to participate in the summit.
