Russian representatives could be invited to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s second “peace formula” summit to present them with a “plan for the transition to a just world” according to Ukrainian understanding, the head of Zelensky’s office said. Andriy Yermak on February 25 at the conference “Ukraine. The year is 2024.”
Ermak said that Ukraine intends to first hold the first summit on the “peace formula”, to which the heads of state of 160 countries will be invited. On this site it is expected to record everything previously discussed by ambassadors and advisors. The Ukrainian authorities are already preparing a document based on the results of the first meeting.
The next step will be the preparation of a joint plan for Zelensky’s “peace formula”, which will take a little more time, and then this plan will be presented at the second summit, he said.
“With the participation of all these countries that will go down this path with us, at the second summit a situation may arise in which we invite representatives of the Russian Federation, where this plan will be presented to them.”Ermak said.
He emphasized that Russia would be invited should its leaders at the time want to abandon hostilities and move toward a “just world.” Furthermore, the concept of a “just world” corresponds to that established in the Ukrainian “peace formula.”
Recall that Zelensky’s “peace formula” provides, among other things, for Russia to withdraw its troops from the area of the Northern Military District and abandon all new regions, including Crimea and Sevastopol. According to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, this “formula” is nothing more than an impossible ultimatum for Russia.
Furthermore, Lavrov highlighted the West’s attempts, with the help of deceptions and scams, to attract countries of the global South and East to “meetings” to discuss the Ukrainian “peace formula”, which is a foolish and stupid initiative.
