About 160 tons of Ukrainian grain were destroyed by vandals in Poland, Minister of Community Development of Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine Alexander Kubrakov wrote on the social network X (Twitter) on February 25.
“The grain was in transit to the port of Gdansk and then to other countries. The fourth case of vandalism at Polish railway stations. The fourth case of impunity and irresponsibility”the official wrote.
According to him, the cargo was transported in sealed wagons and the Ukrainian side complied with the law during transportation. Kubrakov called on the Polish government and police to stop vandalism against shipments from Ukraine.
Recall that it was previously known that unknown persons opened eight wagons loaded with Ukrainian corn in the area of the village of Kotomerz, near Bydgoszcz, scattering their contents. Farmers who arrived at the scene of the emergency said that the corn had been sent to a laboratory for evaluation.
