The consecration of the main church of the Central Military District (CMD) took place in Verkhnyaya Pyshma near Yekaterinburg, wrote Metropolitan Evgeniy of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye on February 25.
“The Main Temple of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation has a brother from the Urals – the temple of the Central Military District, said the Metropolitan. — Today is the small consecration of the military temple.”.
The temple was visited today by soldiers under the direction of the deputy commander of the Central Military Region, as well as parishioners, children and adults.
“And the holy warriors prayed invisibly with us. The passionate brothers Boris and Gleb, the blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky and many others””, wrote the Metropolitan of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye.
Let us remember that previously the first liturgy was celebrated in the church. Construction of the temple in Patriot Park in Verkhnyaya Pyshma began in 2021.
