Joe Biden was successful as president of the United States because of his age, California Governor Gavin Newsom said February 25 on NBC News.
The host reminded Newsom that 76% of voters say they have serious concerns about President Biden’s ability to win a second term and asked whether, given that, the Democratic Party should nominate Biden for re-election.
Newsom said of Biden: “…what he did in three years was a master class. About 15 million jobs, eight times more than the last three Republican presidents combined. The economy is booming. Inflation is slowing. It is 0.6% more than in the summer of 2020, only 3.1%.”.
Newsom also said that American companies are returning manufacturing to the United States, “and it’s all thanks to Biden’s wisdom, his restraint, his ability to lead in a bipartisan way,” and therefore Newsom supports Biden’s re-election by others. 4 years.
In response to a question from the host about voters being unimpressed with Biden’s record, Newsom said: “I think he’s doing everything he needs to do. I mean, she has an outstanding record. Right now he is doing everything necessary in Ukraine.”
The governor of California also accused Republicans of being unwilling to accept Biden’s proposals to combat the crisis at the border (according to Republicans, spending billions of dollars as Biden proposes will only increase illegal migration).
He added: “So, no, from my humble perspective, not only have the last three years been outstanding, but, as you know, I have been on the campaign trail. It was right in California. I’ve seen it up close, I’ve seen it from afar. But this is my point of view: it is because of his age that he was so successful.”.
Let us remember that the president of the United States often does not understand where he is, where he should go and has difficulty reading texts from a teleprompter. Biden’s opponents blame his age and the diseases of aging for this.
